What are the system requirements?
In order to use clickbooq’s Toolbox™ Web application, you will need a broadband (hi-speed) Internet connection and any modern browser running Flash plug-in version 9 or higher. clickbooq works with both Macs and PCs. And because the Toolbox is Web-based, there is no need to install or download any software to your computer.
For Macs, clickbooq recommends a minimum 1GHz processor speed and a G4 (or higher) processor. clickbooq is fully compatible with the newer Intel-based Macintosh computers. For Windows-based PC computers, a minimum 1GHz processor speed and a Pentium III/ Athlon, or better processor is recommended.
Do my website visitors require the Flash 9 Plugin?
The website that your visitors see only requires Flash plug-in version 8 or higher, and is fully compatible with any Mac or PC-based computer.
As of December 2007, Flash 9 enjoys an incredible 97% penetration rate¹, meaning virtually anyone who visits your site will be able to see it exactly as you intended.
For those visitors who lack the correct version plug-in, all of our websites will automatically detect their installed version number and display simple instructions to download and install the correct plug-in. As an added bonus, clickbooq websites automatically generate an HTML version of your site, making it possible to view your images from Web-enabled smart phones, like the iPhone and BlackBerry handhelds.
What are the software requirements?
clickbooq requires basic image resizing in order to display them properly. To perform this type of image production, it is assumed that you will have reasonable access to Adobe Photoshop or other image-editing application, such as Adobe Lightroom, Apple Aperture, iView MediaPro, and even Apple iPhoto to name a few. There are also numerous free or shareware programs available online which are capable of resizing images to clickbooq specifications.
Because Photoshop is the most popular image-editing tool used by photographers, much of our online-based tutorials and User Guide are based on methods and processes as performed in Photoshop.
